Sometimes a yard just needs a reset - not a full overhaul, just the right moves in the right places. That's exactly what this job was. We came in, looked at what was already there, and figured out what needed to shift, what needed to stay, and what needed to be added to pull it all together.

The centerpiece of the work here is a granite flagstone walkway that connects the patio area to the side of the house. Each piece was laid and set into a clean gravel base, with the irregular edges of the stone doing the visual work. It's the kind of material that holds up over time and looks better as it settles in - no painting, no sealing, just solid stone.

We also relocated several plants and trees to better positions around the beds. Moving established plants isn't just about digging and dropping them somewhere else - placement matters. Getting the spacing right around the arborvitae and perennial grasses meant the beds actually have room to breathe and grow without crowding each other out.

Fresh dark brown mulch was spread across all the planting beds to finish everything off. That dark color contrast against the granite stone and the green of the plants is what ties the whole space together. It also helps with moisture retention and cuts down on weeding - so it's not just cosmetic, it's doing real work.

The end result is a yard that feels intentional. Clean bed lines, a defined walkway, and plants in spots where they actually make sense. Low upkeep, good curb appeal, and nothing that's going to need constant attention.
